iptstate software package provides top-like interface to your netfilter connection-tracking table, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install iptstate
iptstate is installed in your system.
Make ensure the iptstate package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep iptstate *
You will get with iptstate package name, version, architecture and description in a table
